Dr. Jeffrey Leung has held positions as Assistant Professor at Queen's University and Associate Director of the International Saxophone Academy and is a highly-sought instructor and clinician. His student-centered approaches to private lessons and group workshops empower musicians of all ages through in-person and digital teaching, including his web series “Taking it From the Top”

As a pedagogue, Jeffrey cultivates curiosity through student-centered teaching and explores mindful approaches to artistry and wellness. His teaching experience draws from his university
courses in saxophone, music theory, and Soundpainting and improvisation, workshops and clinics in schools and music festivals, and research presentations at conferences. Jeffrey has led taught masterclasses at North American universities, Interprovincial Music Camp, Newfound Chamber Winds Festival, International Saxophone Academy, Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (Singapore), Interlochen Center for the Arts, and his online series “Taking it From the Top.”

 Jeffrey’s students have earned positions with the Toronto Youth Wind Orchestra, won top prizes at Kiwanis Music Festivals, and awarded scholarships to attend prestigious Canadian universities. Additionally, students have gone on to secure positions across Ontario School Boards, and win jobs with the Navy Reserve Bands, Band of the Ceremonial Guard, and Central Band of the Canadian Armed Forces.
